EANM Technologists’ Award

The purpose of the Technologists’ Award is to encourage Nuclear Medicine Technologists to present the abstract of their research project at the Annual EANM Congress.

Who can apply?

The applicant must work as a Technologist.
She/he must submit the abstract of their research project to the EANM Technologists’ Abstract Submission.
She/he must present the abstract at the Annual EANM Congress.

The Award:

	Best Oral Presentation Technologists	1,000 Euro
	Second Best Oral Presentation Technologists	500 Euro
	Third Best Oral Presentation Technologists	250 Euro
	Best e-Poster Presentation Technologists	250 Euro

In addition, the nominees will receive an Award’s Certificate as sign of recognition for their participation.

Application and Procedure:

The application deadline for the Technologists’ Award is May 1, 2022. All the received abstracts will be subject to peer review and the ones with the most original and innovative background will be favoured.

The nominees of the accepted abstracts will be invited to introduce their work in form of an oral and poster presentation at the Annual EANM Congress. The jury will analyze carefully the contents and the overall presentation before the final decision is made.

The winners of the award will be announced during the EANM’22 Congress. The awards will be handed over during a dedicated ceremony.

Dear Readers,

Even though the world has gone a little nuts recently, the EANM’20 organisers have taken a very sensible decision: the conference will now be entirely virtual for reasons of health and safety. As a result, it will no longer be necessary for me, SQRL, to bring you little acorns of knowledge each week in preparation for an on-site congress.

That means that this will be the last Wed@Noon Update. From now on, me and the EANM office will keep you up to date by posting new information on the congress homepage and by including it in the conference newsletter, as before.

I’m sure you are all very excited and also a little uncertain about an entirely virtual conference. However, as we say in the woods, what mighty oaks grow from little acorns!
